Activities for the day:

1. The curious profession of the ornithologist

We will introduce our little visitors to the profession of people who study the world of birds, thanks to our special guest - ornithologist - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov. We will tell them amazing and exciting facts about our feathered friends. We are waiting for you to have fun together!

2. Science with a lession: How does the chicken breathe in the egg?

In this engaging demonstration, children will learn how a chick breathes while still in the eggshell, how it eats, and how it develops. We look forward to seeing you at the times indicated below.

3. Maker space: stop frame animation - Flight of the Birds

Here we will play with time, develop imagination and test patience. With pre-prepared figures and instructions from our team, children will make static objects move, and in this case, fly. This will happen by using a tablet to take single frames, moving the objects a little at a time for each frame. When they merge the shots the illusion of motion is created and the captured objects appear as if they are moving independently.

4. Open Art Zone: Anatomy of the Egg

With dexterity and creativity children will have the opportunity to make a 2D model of an egg. They will learn what's in it and where the germ is located in our art zone.

5. Funny demonstration: On the trail of birds

Even the youngest children can be explorers. In this demonstration, together we will learn how to tell the birds apart and find out which one is hiding where.

6. Planetarium (6+ yrs.)

We will show the shortest path from Earth to space. We'll take your little dreamers on a tour of the solar system and learn what tale lies behind the constellations above us. Come and join us in our Planetarium on Level 2.
