Activities for the day:


1. Activity in a hall: Planers

People have wanted to fly since ancient times, but every invention starts with small steps! Today, airplanes perform hundreds, thousands of flights every day, but the first pioneers of flying made devices called gliders that caught air currents and traveled different distances.Our young inventors will be able to make their first glider design using a variety of materials and tools, just like these early dreamers.

2. Science with a lession: Air - the invisible friend of flying? (7+yrs.)

Why can albatrosses fly for several hours without flapping their wings? And why do airplanes rely on the air around us to fly?Through experiments, the Muzeiko team will introduce children to air currents, what they are affected by, and why they are important for bird and aircraft flight.

3. Maker space: Sailboat car (7+yrs.)

Can we harness the power of the wind on land? And for racing? Who first did such a thing centuries before kiteboarding was created?Using a variety of tools and materials, the young inventors in the Maker space will be able to make their first "sailing car," and see if it breaks the world speed record.

4. Open art zone: Kirigami (6+)

We can do so much with a piece of paper! Kirigami is a type of Japanese art that uses cuts and folds to turn a piece of paper into a three-dimensional object! By following precise instructions and using their trusty pair of scissors, little inventors will be able to get hands-on with this art, assembling their own model car!

5. Funny demonstration: On the bottom of the sea (2+yrs.)

Who lives on the sea floor? Crabs, starfish, jellyfish and other aquatic creatures. In this demonstration we will learn about aquatic creatures, hold the ocean in our hands and learn how to keep the water clean.

6. Outdoor activity: The little fisherman

Here, your children's task is to fish for various sea creatures and harvest them in a bucket. Little fishermen need to be quick, skilled and keep having fun.

In the Muzeiko courtyard; 10:30 - 17:30.

7. Planetarium (6+ yrs.)

We'll show the shortest path from Earth to space. We'll take your little dreamers on a tour of the solar system and learn what tale lies behind the constellations above us. Come and join us in our Planetarium on Level 2.
