Being seen in a world of numerous visual attractions is more and more challenging. Urban Art Foundation has managed to  produce, manage and create some of the most challenging, large – scale projects. However, this group of artists has made them visible and well known and gathered numerous audience of variety of people, some of which were not interested in artistic work before.

About Kalina Gesheva and Iassen Geshev:

Kalina Gehseva has more than 15 years of experience in marketing, advertising and culture. She holds a Master’s degree from Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3 University.

As a marketing expert, she has 55 awards for creative and effective communications on the Bulgarian market and internationally. Kalina has developed more than 500 advertising campaigns worth more than 50 million euro.

As an art manager, Kalina has participated in all the projects brought to life by Urban Creatures so far.

Iasen has over 20 years of experience in developing and executing out-of-the-box projects in marketing, arts and sports.

Iassen Geshev is a TEDx speaker and also part of Darik Radio’s “40 under 40”project.

As a Marketing Director of one of the biggest sports events in Bulgaria – “Rally Bulgaria” - he contributed to its inclusion in the World Rally Championship (WRC) in 2010.

As an Event Manager at New Moment New Ideas Company, Iassen worked for clients such as Red Bull, Samsung, Xerox, Bulgarian Telecommunication Company and others. He has been a part of the best advertising agencies twice.

As a founder of the Urban Art Foundation, he brought to life the Urban Creatures project. The project transformed Poduyane district of Sofia through urban art and street art. Lately, he has stepped in as an artist himself with the development of large scale light installations presented at “SOFIA LIGHTS”.

Come to meet Irene Guerrieri, an artist and toy designer from Italy, and learn more about her creative process. Get to know more about how toys are being developed and what is the importance of play in the learning and educational process. Should you be a teacher, a toy producer or an artist, this workshop will leave you with inspiration and new ideas.

About Irene Guerrieri

Irene was born in Rome in 1968 and graduated in Architecture in 1992. She is passionate in design aimed at young children and had multiple collaborations with companies in the planning of lines for kids and with several publishing houses for children.

She designed for the wood and fabric Zookids line for Sevi/Trudi, selected at the Compasso d’Oro 2002 under the subject of the Zebra, and published on ADI Index Design. She is a mother of five children, so her activity is not so far from her life.

At present she is working on creative and educational toys for pre-school age, Irene has won numerous prizes in design and illustration fields.
